A project about how animals and nature are the victim of human use of plastic and the fast fashion industry. By making wearable pieces from waste using different techniques like crochet, sewing and weaving is awareness created about this subject. The clothing pieces are made uncomfortable, inspired by the animals which are trapped in the waste. A further developed theme from Wear Your Waste, but this time I experimented more with using different techniques, making bigger and harder pieces and working with video. For the video I used an old video tape camera, which can also been seen as waste because it’s old, but it has this character which made the video more intense.
